Norway! You got a good and cheap ferry connection from Newcastle to Bergen in Norway. It's run by DFDS and I think they have holidays as well. There's a good skii resort at Voss, only an hour from Bergen and I think you can get a good offer from the ferry company, like a package trip. Best of luck!
