That is a lovely gift and I do not think it's too pushy. Perhaps you could include an invitation to go out to dinner and this might break the ice for the shy guy!

Yes, this is way too pushy - not least considering you aren't even going out yet.
If he's too shy to ask you out then maybe you should ask him but I'd hold back the present for a while!

As long as it's nice ridiculously expensive..sure. Another idea would be to ask him out as a unique type of Christmas gift. Make coupons of different dates (IE. movie, dinner, sledding, Christmas caroling, helping to deliver food baskets through a church, baking cookies..etc...) This way you give him something AND you get to go out/be together. Merry Christmas!

You never need an occasion to buy a gift if it is coming from your heart. The watch might be an icebreaker. Good Luck..just don't expect anything in return.

That sounds perfect!! But if he is a sporty type of guy you should stick with team spirit gear, and if he's hy you should give him a funny Christmas present.

well, it depends what is he like. I personally think that he would love a watch, because boys do. But if he is still young, i dont kno if he would think it is weird or if he uses it. You can always give it to him with a receet, or you can see if he wares it and if not he doesn't really like it. That is what I think.

i dont think it's being pushy...what matters is the thought and mostly the purpose that the gift is serving....

DON`T spend to much because he will think you should do that all the time and that you are trying to buy him.
