Roasting chestnuts: don't forget to cut them, then give one minute full blast, test and go again if necessary. (Try boiling them in salted walter - no split necessary - drop into cool water, strip outer skin, as much innerskin as possible, used for stuffing etc.)..............

Of course he won't give you his email address because
the chestnuts are going to BLOW UP, one by one. and ruin
your mom' s microwave. Try roasting them in the oven,
but I do not know the proper way. I do believe you have to
cut the outer shell to let steam out.
