You probably caught the HIV before the TB. HIV weakens your immune system, making it more likely that you will catch TB and get sick from it. You probably don't have TB anymore (since you took all the drugs for it) but could easily catch it again. I'd suggest seeing an infectious disease specialist regularly, someone who can help you come up with a plan to stay healthy and fight your HIV infection.

If you are HIV positive, you are immunocompromised. If the drugs did not work, you have multidrug resistant TB and need 2nd line anti TB drugs.

First did he do an HIV test? If not then he does not know for sure unless your white cells are really low, (CBC, which is lab work). You really should be tested to know for sure......
