L. and I met years ago through a friend when I babysat his daughter. We met again this past year at college. We're both single, and we've dated a couple of times, with months between dates. I'm happy to be his friend, but after a couple of dates, I don't feel anything for him other than friendship. He stopped by today, out of the blue, and we talked for awhile. He asked if he could come by later this evening around 7, when he gets back from a couple of errands. I said yes, but now I'm thinking about it and I'm pretty sure he's taking my answer to mean that he can come over and sleep with me. We played around on our last date, at the drive in, (yes, they still exist), but I really don't feel enough for him to have sex. He doesn't have a cell phone, so I can't call him, and he's on the road right now. Should I let him come over or not, and if not, what should I tell him?

leave a note on the door and tell him where to met you. tell him you had to run out for a bit and that he will find you at a public place. once he is there talk to him and let him know that you are not ready to go to next level. he will understand if he likes you.

whats so wrong with being friends with him? ive had guy friends stop by my house at 1 in the morning hoping to get some, and i dont. i make up my mind and stick with it. if he tries something, tell him you are sorry but that you just dont look at him like that. it may be somewhat of a blow to his ego at first, but if he really wants to be your friend, he'll get over it. but stick to your guns. you never know, you guys may just have horrible timing and giving it some time to be just friends and really get to know each other may just be what the doctor ordered.

Go out and run errands tonite. When he stops by you won't be home. That way there is no turning him down.
Say you forgot and got busy!

Peace
