I know that you all didn't know what to do, but Advil and Tylenol are extemely toxic to cats. Don't ever give them any medication without 1st consulting a vet first. How long ago did she give him the Advil? If you read the answers as they are posted, please call a vet right now. If there are none open on Sat. in your area, call poison control or an Animal ER in your area ASAP. It shuts down their kidneys and they can die.

Advil & Tylenol are VERY dangerous for cats and can KILL them. I'm sure your mom didn't know any better but you need to call an emergency vet right away and take your cat in to be seen. I have personally seen animals die from being given human medications without the advice of their vet. Good luck!
EDIT: Call the emergency vet and see if they will bill you. Find a ride from a friend. Call the humane society or a shelter and ask for advice. Your cat really needs to be seen by a vet now. And again, I'm sure you had no bad intentions but human food and human medicine are very different. You could eat cat food if you wanted and not get sick but there are many drugs for cats that make humans sick.

you really shouldn't give a cat human meds apart from being a larger dose rate as we are bigger than cats, there no real knowing what the med will do to the individual animal.
a side effect of the Advil is possible blisters forming on the tongue this could be what has formed on your animals tongue.
he may of also been overdosed.
ring the vet for advice now. take the Advil with you, inform exactly how much he has been given and i ensure you the vet will see him if is also concerned.
pls inform your mum not to give human medication or animal unless advised by a vet.

You should never give a cat any of the NSAIDs like advil. Aspirin and Tylenol can kill them. Advil may make them very sick. Human medicine in general should never, ever be given to animals. If you can not afford a vet please take your kitten to an ASPCA free clinic or an animal shelter clinic.. Or call an animal hospital, some of them will treat for free. This sounds like a small bite nothing to worry about but I am not a vet..

You can't give a pet advil or aspirin it could kill them. Get your cat to a vet right away he could be suffocating or the advil was blue and his tongue is died the colour of the advil. Never treat a cat that's sick on your own, the human society or a vets office if you can't afford or look up cat help sites on the net. Vetrinary University sites are the best alway check for edu on the link. But if your cat is breathing swallow get Rusty to a vet immediately and tell mom you know she meant well, but aspirin, tylenol and advil can kill a cat or dog. VET Please. Good luck to Rusty.

I have (and feature had) many cats, and permit me say that I am no stranger to them having this illness! Actually, it is particularly simply allergy symptoms. Rubbing their eyes lightly with a fairly hot damp rag to take away all that **** will have to paintings. Other than that, they are just a bit sneezy and it is not anything to fear approximately. If your mother is equipped to deliver them away, you will have to concentrate to her. Most most probably, the kittens will pass to a loving loved ones who is been looking ahead to a few kittens for a while! Don't suppose that almost all individuals do not care for their kitties. Just recall, in the event that they wish them, they love them. Good good fortune!
