Just get a compass and biro ink, do love and hate (or hat in my case, i passed out) on your nuckles, it'll work a treat!

Well it depends on whether you want a real tattoo or not! Henna or permanent ink or dye is used in body art but eventually that wears off as the skins surface layer isn't permanent! Most permanent inks/dyes you could buy or make are not safe to use under the skin. If you try to tattoo yourself BE CAREFUL people DO get Blood Poisoning that way. + It hurts enough when done professionally!

Go to a professional who has the hook-ups to pro suppliers who will use ink that doesn't have the possiblity of getting into your blood stream and killing you. You might think a bic pen is harmless, until there's enough additives and such in your blood to send you to the hospital, all from one little ball point pen or some other nonsense. If you have to ask how to make your own ink, I somehow doubt you're really ready mentally for the responsiblity a tattoo really is. You'll probably get "mom" spelled wrong in a drunken haze and 10 years down the road wonder what you were thinking.

i like to use indian ink, it does quiet a nice job and the ink stays black rather then go blue or grey. i am in da middle of making my own tattoo gun!

You could use the prison methods try burning the underside of stainless steel then turn it over to reveal the black soot like substance this can be taken and used as a very useful ink pigment.Also search online for pigment chemistry.If you want an effective homemade tattoo try soldering needles together like 3,5,7 or above and have fun.Don't listen to others who say don't do it do what you want live by your own standards and fuc* everyone else its your body afterall.Good Luck.

are you bloody crazy do you really want to give your body a possible poisoning!!! there is a reason tattoo ink is only supplied for tattoo shops, because stupid people like you will end up being crazy with it. You should never ever make your own ink

It's really not worth it. The risk of blood poisoning, and drawing your tattoo very badly, are too high.
If you want one done pay out and get it done properly.

when i was a lad i used indian ink and a needle , but as u grow older u begin to regret it so thi nk hard before jumping in
