because Adam rejected God's intervention on his (Adam's) and our behalf.

The beautician was styling her clients hair and they were discussing the horrible disasters going on in the world and the beautician said-I can't beleive there is really a God when I see all these horrible things happening and the client was not sure how to answer her and said - I guess there must not be a God. She paid the beautician and went outside and saw several women going down the street with very unkept and messy hair. She stood there and thought about what she had seen and went back and asksed the beautician if she believed there were really any beauticians. The beautician replied-of course because I am a licensed beautician. The client asked-How can you explain these women with the messed up hair that I just saw. The beautician said-They would be allright if they would just come to me and let me fix it. The client said -there is the problem with people-If they would go to God then He could fix it. Men create a lot of situations and never seek God for guidance to a solution.

Did you think it was Paradise before 9-11. Truly America isn't the world and there have always be catastrophes even here in America we had a giant earthquake in San Francisco we've had hurricanes that were disaterous and the world has dealt with these things throughout the history of the world. You must truly have led a sheltered life. Had you read the word of God you would have been told that these things happen and will continue to happen this is not paradise and paradise is yet to come. We live in a sinful world and many bad things happen here...It is the reason that God has a plan to save his creation from sin and offer them a life in his perfect kingdom. I wont type the entireity of the Gospel here but it is available to you and would be a good thing to study and seek God and he can reveal his truths to you.

It may be unpleasant to contemplate, but death and suffering are facts of life. Job put it well when he said: “Man, born of woman, is short-lived and glutted with agitation.”—Job 14:1.
People of various religions have gone to their religious leaders and teachers to ask why there is so much suffering. Often, the response is that suffering is God’s will and that he long ago determined everything that would ever happen, including tragic events. Many are told that God’s ways are mysterious or that he brings death upon people—even children—so that he can have them in heaven with him. As you have learned, though, Jehovah God never causes what is bad. The Bible says: “Far be it from the true God to act wickedly, and the Almighty to act unjustly!”—Job 34:10.
In many cases, they blame Almighty God because they think that he is the real ruler of this world. They do not know a simple but important truth that the Bible teaches. The real ruler of this world is Satan the Devil.
The Bible clearly states: “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.” (1Â John 5:19) When you think about it, does that not make sense? This world reflects the personality of the invisible spirit creature who is “misleading the entire inhabited earth.” (Revelation 12:9) Satan is hateful, deceptive, and cruel. So the world, under his influence, is full of hatred, deceit, and cruelty. That is one reason why there is so much suffering.
A second reason why there is so much suffering is that, mankind has been imperfect and sinful ever since the rebellion in the garden of Eden. Sinful humans tend to struggle for dominance, and this results in wars, oppression, and suffering. (Ecclesiastes 4:1; 8:9) A third reason for suffering is “time and unforeseen occurrence.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11) In a world without Jehovah as a protective Ruler, people may suffer because they happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

1st Peter Chapter 4 verse 12-19, dear friends please do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though somthing strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be over joyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the spirit and glory of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgement to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? and, "if it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner"? So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit thereselves to there faithful creator and continue to do good.

If God is all-knowing, all-good and all-powerful, it doesn't seem to make sense.
But a person can still believe in a God who is not either all-knowing or all-good or all-powerful.
Also, a person could believe in a God who is all three of these things, but who acts in ways we really can't comprehend. If He is infinite, then He may simply know more about what should happen than we do.
Personally, I'm believing in the all-good, all-knowing God who can't quite do everything.
It makes me an outsider in a lot of circles, but it works for me.

Yes I still believe in God! Why wouldn't I?
If you would study the books of the Bible, you would see that things of this nature will take place.. fore warning you.. its going to get a lot worse than 9/11, tsunami, mud slides, etc. etc.

What you see as the world and what happens in it is only a very small part of Reality...like humans only use a very small portion of the brain. If you can somehow get a glimpse of the "bigger picture" you would know God as Reality, not just something to believe or disbelieve in. There's a great deal more "crap" coming...

Yes.
Crazy stuff, as you put it, has been happening for centuries, for thousands of years. How about World War One, or Two? How about the huge volcanic eruptions of the past? How about the flood in Noah's time? and on and on.
What you're really talking about is the problem of evil, pain, suffering, disease, and so on.
Much as we want it to be, this world is not heaven. It's a dangerous place, and a lot of what makes it dangerous is people.
Personally, I feel we are here to learn and to become and to fulfill our potential (and for me that includes a Christian perspective).
This world is much more a school than it is a playground.

Hmmm' Doubt God.. Read this... "Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983. From
world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed:
"Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"?
To this Arthur Ashe replied: The world over -- 5 crore children start playing tennis, 50 lakh learn to play tennis, 5 lakh learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 5000 reach the grand slam, 50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to semi final, 2 to the finals, When I was holding a cup I never asked GOD "Why me?". And today in pain I should not be asking GOD
"Why me?"
Happiness keeps u Sweet, Trials keep u Strong, Sorrow keeps u Human,
Failure Keeps u Humble, Success keeps u Glowing, But only God Keeps u
Going.....
Keep Going.."
