DirecTV, VCR and Playstation?

Can someone assist me with connecting the units to each other? I have a DirecTV box, a television, a VCR and a Playstation. The TV is showing perfectly fine, but I can't get the VCR to work. Which "in" goes to which "out?"

OK, I've figured out how to connect them. Can someone explain to me how to record from the DirecTV to the VCR?

I worked at Dish Network some time ago and I helped customers with that. Its not direct tv but the connections are similar. Try going to the direct tv website or call customer service, they should be able to help you.
