This bill will give all of the High tech computer jobs to them. If you have not noticed most of those jobs have gone offshore anyway! So What's left for American citizens, besides the bills? What about the people who waited in line and came here through proper channels? Kick them and ourselves to the curb? I don't think so!

Because the people we hired to give them a "fair" time, arn't doing their job. Our government, which was chartered to protect our border, enforce the law and conduct legal immigration has failed on all accounts to one degree or another in huge, circumstance changing ways.
So, Americans who are keenly aware of the shortcomings of a government that has spurned it's citizens, are starting to take the law into their own hands.
I don't think most Americans see Mexican workers as the problem, until they lose their own jobs to one, or until one of their famil is killed by a non licensed, registered or uninsured drunked illegal, or their local hospital has been closed by a huge influx of unpaying undocumented (your soft term) Mexican people, or their kids can't get a decent education because of the large numbers of illegal immigrant, non English speaking children in their schools. Need I go on?
We (America) have not been protected. So, we are starting to do what we have to, to protect ourselves. It will get worse, unless our government does the unimaginable, ITs JOB!
And about them being our neighbors. Until recently, I was able to get by just fine with my, Asian, Philip, German, English, Middle Eastern, French legal immigrant neighbors but currently, things are getting difficult with our noisy, disrespectful (throwing crapy baby diapers in the street) and trashing the area, illegal parking, horn blowing, barking dogs, rash of breaking and entering in the neighborhood, etc. types of experiences with my LEGAL Mexican neighbor and their illegal immigrant house guests (muchos!).
They only buoyancy from illegals is going into the pockets of the wealthy and our government (illegals who pay taxes while using forged docs and false SS# provided a tax bonanza for corrupt poloticians who use this money to enrich pork barrel politics to their own advantage and those of their wealthy amigos) So the undocumented or illegal Mexican does much inadvertant harm as well as direct harm to America and Americans.
Its a war of sort we are in. This is why we give these folks a hard time. In my eyes it's understandable and perhaps on a primitive level justifiable. Fact is, our Government needs to step up and do its job. Then the rest of us can get back to being "good neighbors", your term.
