Most energy drink are bad for you. If you drink them in moderation though they won't kill you. Those stories you hear about people dieing from energy drinks are from people that didn't read the warnings they put on the side of each and every drink.
One of my co-workers use to drink energy drinks every morning and one day I took the time to sit down and read the damn thing. It had a warning not too drink more then 2 servings per sitting (what ever that means per sitting) and then if you look at the nutrition facts it said 2.5 servings per container.
He explained to me that the 2 servings on the side of the can must have been a typo and it should say 2 containers cause that's what he drinks every morning and he's was perfectly fine, he has a heart condition now and can't run or participate in overly vigorous activities.
Energy drinks over stimulate your body and push it beyond it's normal means. Your body can and will eventually get use to it and depend on it, like how some people depend on coffee to wake up in the morning.

Yes, because almost all energy drinks have warnings on the back. Some have killed people, but that is because they are huge *s. They will dehydrate the body, sometimes cause heart palpitations, which means the heart pumps too fast and that is NOT GOOD!
BUT: If you don't have like, more than one every few days, you'll be fine. Don't worry about it.
(ummm i am guilty of the Yum! MONSTER!!! *chug*, but havent killed myself because i do not do that very often)
Drink up, kill yourself, have fun! Remember: Moderation is key.

Could coffee kill you?
Energy drinks are high in caffeine and herbs which contain caffein or other stimulants, such as guarana. As with any caffeinated beverage, they should be drunk in moderation. Though it depends on your body weight and metabolism, my recommendation would be to keep it to two-a-day or less, and avoid energy drinks in the last 3-4 hours before your bedtime.
It's doubtful that they could kill you unless you have an extreme caffeine sensitivity or heart condition. If you experience sweats, nausea, or rapid heartrate, discontinue.

Yes. It's probably not good for you. Think about it...It is loaded with sugar (which makes you fat) and caffine (which is not good for your heart). Too much of it will lead to a loss of sleep and energy. Thus, your immune system will be out of whack. So, like anything else, you have to use in moderation. It probably could kill you, but, you'd have to drink a TON of it for that to happen. I would guess that it would take your blood sugar level up to a dangerous level, hence killing you. But, that is unlikely.

Ask for proof next time.
If there was any halfway decent evidence to suggest that monster drinks kill you, then they would be off the store shelves. Since it is not natural, it will have its share of people who think it is bad for you. In moderation though, it's doubtful that it would be bad for you.

I like what Geoff said.
In moderation drinks like that are fine, but yes if taken in high quantities, the drinks can be harmful.
The only way it could kill you is if you drank the equivalent of a lethal dose of caffeine

Definitely CANNOT kill you.
Unless you have a weak tolerance for caffiene, it shouldn't effect you in a bad way at all.
Monsters are my all-time favorite!!

Pretty much. I don't know if it can kill you, but like coffee, Red Bull and certain caffinated sodas, it can destroy your body's ablity to make natural energy, meaning that you will become more dependent on them.

Yes. Drink it and your heart will start pounding because of the caffine.
