I'm looking to find a new babysitter or daycare but I would like to go through a website that does background checks especially if the daycare is a home daycare. Does anyone know of any such website or any recommendations on how to find a good babysitter?

yea im too afraid to use a babysitter b/c if u ever seen Maury's episodes he has babysitters caught on tape of them beatting the **** out of the kids . . . so yea never trust someone you dont kno

Check with your local city's Department of Human Services.
They should have a listing or have a referral to a city departent you can call.
I wouldn't trust my child with any internet referrals.
