Well, you can move out with permission from your parents. You can become emancipated. I assume the laws are different in each state.
You can't expect to pay your bills without a job. It just won't happen. You can't must move in with someone else and expect them to pay your bills for you and house you.
If you are responsible about saving your money, your parents may let you move out. If they sign the papers, then you are on your own. Make sure that you are making the right decision before you do anything like that.
What about school? School should be your number one priority right now. Without a diploma, you will never do anything with your life. You can't support yourself on minimum wage. You will spend the rest of your life broke.

There are men out there just waiting for a girl/boy like you to come along. They are called "pimps" and they love to find no it all little girls/boys to make slaves out of. My advice to you is to grow up first! Then move out. It is a hard world and it is getting harder. Contact a relative if you can not live at home. Ask them for a home. But do not think that you are old enough to set out on your own. You need to finish school at the very least! You will have to work to pay rent and feed yourself. FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE! Don't be stupid, and don't rush things. It is only two more years until you graduate high school.

Of course you will need a job. If you want to be on your own you will be responsible for yourself, and it is not free to live anywhere or get anywhere in life. It's a lot of responsibility, trust me. I've been there. If you are almost sixteen why dont you stay where you are and get a job, start saving all you can, and by the time you are 18 things will be so much easier for you. You'll have money saved to find a place to live, to eat, and transportation funds or whatever. If you are being abused in any way I have a friend who took his parents to court when he was 16 and won custody of himself. Weird I know, but it happened. Otherwise, stick it out. And dont forget to save save save!!! Good luck doll.

It's a big world out ther and it really sucks when you work all hte time and all that money you make goes to bills and groceries. Enjoy while you can. Don't grow up faster than you are. I wish I could go back in time and do it all over again. I was sixteen when I moved out and now I'm 22 and have three kids. Good Luck.

First of all the only job you will be able to get at 16 (at least here in the states) is a minimum wage part time position at best . That isn't going to pay the rent. On top of rent there are the bills for heating and air conditioning. The cable and internet bills as well as phone bills. You have to pay for the water you use in an apartment or home, as well as sewer usage and garbage pick up. You will have to pay your own doctor's bills, so hopefully you won't get sick, you will have to pay your on medical insurance. You will have to purchase your own car, good luck on getting a loan because it is against the law to enter a loan contract with a minor so you'd better be able to pay in cash, then of course there is car insurance and at 16 those premiums are going to be mighty high with you not living at home. That's EVERYTHING you will need to be prepared to be on your own.

First of all i have a 18 year old who moved out when she graduated and she sees how hard it is out on your own. unless you are being beat i think you should stay home. things could be worse. if your reason for wanting to move out is because your parents are to strict on you than they only love and want to protect you. take time to try to understand where they are coming from.

you need to be more specific on what the problem really is, what is it that they wont let you do? most places in the usa, you need to be 17, have a full time job, etc.... maybe someone can help you figure out the problem....post a new question on the site !

if you have to ask these questions then obviously you are not ready. you'll not make enough money, finish school first and go on from there. almost everyone has problems at home so don't feel alone.
