There is no definite answer, it is almost guaranteed that there are endangered animals that we haven't discovered yet. Some species are dying out right now and we don't even know it. Also it depends on who you talk to as to what endangered really is, some may say whales are endangered while others believe that they are not endangered. Offially there are are 6% of the 600,000 species in the world classified as endangered according to wikipedia. That about, 36,000 species.

None, because if evolution is a natural process, like most scientist believe, then all species are endangered by natural selection. All the species on Earth will all one day die off and become extinct all because they evolved and gave rise to a better more adapt species. So again just to reiterate, there are no endangered species because they don't disappear they just change.

Depending on what your definition of endangered species is, there are many species endangered.

More than we know! Species are undoubtedly going extinct before science even discovers them, especially as isolated tracts of virgin rainforest are cleared.
