In the last 6 months he has had non bizzare delusions. He is also 70 years of age. He is otherwise very lucid and is very active in the community. He has no history whatsoever of psychiatric symptoms or treamtment. Please, informed answers only. Thanks.

Yes, it seems that Zocor can cause some pretty serious and odd side effects.
Nervous System: Dizziness, headache, insomnia, tingling, memory loss, damage to nerves causing weakness and/or loss of sensation and/or abnormal sensations, anxiety, depression, tremor, loss of balance, psychic disturbances.
