I would recommend doing a hot oil or deep conditioning treatment. You can actually go to any Trade Secret, they sell the more expensive salon products and not so high of a cost. Also a good place to go is your "discount hair salons", like Fantastic Sam's or Borics. They usually have really good sales on products like that. A good conditioner that moisturizes. Keep getting your hair trimmed/cut every 4-6 weeks. If your damage is due to overprocessing or using products that have stripped your hair then the conditioner/treatments will help, but only growing your hair out will bring back a healthy head of hair.

just because your hair feels textured doesn't mean its not healthy, it may be wavy or curly or just naturaly coarse.
Use a good shampoo/conditioner combo or at the least a good conditioner
should help to smooth it out

Try Miraculous Recovery Strengthening triple cream by john Frieda's Frizz Ease Range. You only need to leave it on for one minute. It will work wonders. My hair felt like silk after using it. Its very affordable too!!!

how often do you wash and treat it? Go to sally's beauty store and ask them, get a discount card that way to get a better deal on the products. I can't tell you exactly what products to use b/c I'm not sure of your ethnicity.

Find yourself a good beautician. You sound like you may need the ends of your hair trimmed and a good conditioner. Alot of foods that you eat can also cause problems.
