Yes, it won't be quite as rich but it will be less fattening. I actually prefer half n half over heavy cream.

I often use Land O' Lakes fat free half-n-half in place of heavy cream, light cream, or even regular half-n-half. I have never had a problem with it. My products turn out creamy and light with no fat and fewer calories. It's a no-brainer to me.

Will work fine. You can disolve 1-1/2 tsp cornstarch with the milk and it will thicken it up more than if you just use the half and half, but I prefer straight half and half if I don't have condensed milk.

yes, it will work. You might add a bit more butter, however, cause the difference between half/half and heavy cream is the amount of Butter fat included...

No worries, there.......the half and half will work just fine......so don't stress about it........as another said, I use it all the time in place of heavy cream.........

of course it will work even a light cream works as long as it is cream
