What could I put on it to make it not dry and good. Right now I just put the steak in a pan with potatos and veges and cover it up with foil and put it in the oven. I put salt, pepper, and garlic powder on it.

Marinate it in some type of garlic sauce. Mmmm :)

Depends on how well done you like it.

But....

You can achieve varying degrees of doneness in the
same steak by cooking under a broiler at high heat.
High heat gives fast cooking and sears the outside.
You may wish to pan-fry the meat first and then let
rest in a moderate oven if you don't have high heat or
a broiler.. The key to making it juicy is to not overcook...Pink
or red inside if you like.

If you do overcook, then cook for a really long time in liquid
so that it falls apart like a roast.

If you have a broiler pan, use that to collect the juices.

Use soy sauce or a little salt on both sides before broiling.

If you don't have a broiler, use the oven at its highest heat.

Cook for about 8 to ten minutes total.

This way you will get a crispy outside and a tender inside.

Use the juices to make gravy for the potato and onion and carrots to go with the steak.

Use the same technique for a small roast.

For a large (thicker) piece of meat, you may want to
cook at low heat (250-300 F) until the meat is near the
desired degree of doneness and then blast at high heat to
get the crispy, flavorful outer crust.

Just salt on the outside is fine before cooking.

Let the meat cool a little at room temp before slicing. It will continue to cook after removing from the oven.

If you don't have a broiler pan, just crinkle up some
foil under the meat to lift it from the pan. That way, you don't
have boiled steak in liquid...kind of bland.

For the gravy, brown a tablespoon of flour at low heat in
a pan with some butter. Stir frequently. Add the juices of
the steak, and water or milk as needed. Add salt and pepper.
Stir to keep from getting lumpy. serve on the side. Add soy or
steak sauce as desired.

place the steak in an oven dish chop some red onions add 2 beef stock cubes and some water in an oven dish cover with foil place in oven for 2 1/2 hours.
cut some potato's into wedges coat in seasoning bake in an oven.
when you dish up the steak make the juice into a thick rich gravy
also serve with hot bread and butter.

I add some worchestershire sauce and 1/2 to 3/4 cup burgundy wine and a can of mushroom stems and pieces to mine. Also, I cook mine in an open, heavy black iron skillet that is lined with aluminum foil with long enouth ends to fold over the top to hold in the steaming juices. It's really tasty if you use good steak, i.e., London Broil, etc.

To keep the juices in the steak, use a low temperature in the oven. A high termperature will just dry out the steak and it won't be yummy. Also try adding worcestershire sauce to add some flavor.

use a little bit of tenderizor, then poke it with a fork several times. THen add some Lea and Perkins. I use about 1 TBSP per side. Then i coat it in a sprinkling of seasoning salt and it's tender and juicy every time!
