its in a couple of weeks and i have no idea what i should get him!!
he wears like really expensive designer clothes and i dont have the money to buy him those brands....
plus i didnt want to get him clothes for christmas either..i wanted to do something cute for him...its going to be our first christmas toghether and we have been toghether for eight months already..
so does anybody have any ideas on what i should get him....?
something cute that he'll keep for a long time....something memorable and that it'll remind him of me everytime he sees it...

Get him a gold or silver chain... maybe a cross pendant with it. Sterling silver or 24 karate gold. Or you could get him an electric shaver, or if he is a Libra.. which it sounds like he might be.. or a leo. Get hima new pair of sunglasses, or a new hat. You're right though about the clothes, its hard. My hubby is the opposite. he wears plain white t-shirts and blue jeans and doesn't like dressing up that often. So its hard to buy him stuff... even worse, he has this really smal waist and its a really hard size to find for him. Maybe just something that will hint of a great romantic night just for him. Thats what is on a guys mind most of the time anyway. Think of something that he'd love in that way. And make it really fun. ;o)

For my first Christmas with my late fiance I did the following-
Get him a keepsake ornament (something that you two have done together or that you have always talked about doing) something that will remind him of you. Find out his Favorite sports team or symbol and get him a gold charm of it - for a necklace and tell him for his birthday he will find out what that is really all about - if it is a team or something you can get tickets to do that for his birthday if it isn't a team or something and you know that when his birthday comes then just get him a chain- I always have tried to make christmas presents either match the birthday gift or visa versa this way there is always something to get for them!!!!!!
And remember - the amount shouldn't matter it is in the thought and what it means to that person!!!

Dear Averylove, I had this problem last year what you should do is make up a whole in tire night just dedicated to you two. Plan a movie to watch , and go out to his favorite place to eat. Or if you don't want to do that take him to the mall and see what he really looks at for awhile and if he doesn't get it get it for him. But i would go with the spend the day together thing really i would spend the whole night together.

What does he like to do? Does he like to work with his hands? You could get him a gift certificate to Best Buy or another department store where he frequents. I have taken pictures of of a friend and his brother while his brother was here and put them in a frame. He loved it. His brother lives over 8 hours away. You could get him something meaningful to both of you, something that will spark memories of where you both have been. Have fun and Merry Christmas.

Maybe something really cute like, a personalized ornament, or a picture frame with a picture of you 2 in it, and the frame would be personalized. It probably wouldn't cost too much.
