To ensure succesful bangs is to ensure your forehead is structured enough. If your forehead is small do not do bangs your nose will look bigger than it is. Now if you have a forehead that allows room for you to map out instructions by all means go for it.

If you have a broad forehead then you should get the cool, 70's straight across bangs that have been popular for a while now. I'm not sure how great it would be to get side bangs though, they really just make round faces rounder.

Don't do them yourself. Sideswept bangs are the style for right now, but it will enhance your round face. Try a shag hair style with sideswept bangs.

I would say on the safe side if you dont have bangs already, dont try to cut them yourself. But you could always trim them if you have/get them. :]

I think it sould be ok as long as you keep them pretty long. that's what I do and it really helps give my face a shape.

yeah, it's safe. i suggest that you side-part them, and maybe get "long-ish bangs"
