I bought some dark chocolate chips and I want to make some chocolate chip cookies w/ candy cane bits in thtm. Sound good? Any tips?

Yes......... you can and they are delicious. PS they already sell the peppermint pieces already broken in the chocolate chip aisle. YUM!YUM !

Hi there; Yes you can..If you want too just crush the candy cane pieces and sprinkle on top of the cookie before baking..When the cookies are done you may want too drizzle some chocolate on top of the cookie.Just try a few and see if you like them..Good Luck and Happy Holidays

just make the cookies in regular way and when
they are half done or a little more than half down in the oven then add candy cane bits to each cookie. Then finish cooking the cookies!

Yes, put the candy cane in wax paper and crush. dump into cookie dough just before you spoon it out. This also works in a white cake mix with chocolate icing....

I was going to say what Alison said. I've made those chocolate pinwheel cookies and they are fantastic. I'm making them again this year. I will add a couple of teaspoons of water to the chocolate dough because it cracks a little.

This is a great idea for kids, I'd look for a low or no sugar recipe. I usually have fruits on hand during the holidays to satisfy my families sweet tooth with less work and stress if it doesn't work out.

YES YOU CAN BAKE WITH CANDY CANES JUST GO TO THE BETTY CROCKER WEBSITE AND IN THE INGREDIENTS WINDOW TYPE PEPPERMINT CANDY AND IT WILL GIVE YOU A LIST OF RECIPES TO CHOOSE FROM !!!

Yes...also you can add candycane pieces to cakes & frostings.Also you can add cookies to your cakes...Like add crushed up oreo cookies to your cake mix ..it`s great.Also try crushed oreo cookies in vanilla pudding.mmmm...Happy Holidays......
