What do you know about chai tea? Eaither the tea bags or the lattes? Are they healthy? How many calories? They have these drinks at starbucks.

I know that most chai lattes are made from black tea which has a good caffeine in it that can reduce the risk of heart attacks and stroke. and it has fluorine which is good for you teeth. as for antioxidants, they are kind of low in antioxidants, but they have some.
I think if you did the chai latte with splenda and nonfat milk- it would be really healthy, no fat and low calories- starbucks says 230 calories, but i think they are already sweetened

I don't know much about the tea bags but I know a little about the lattes. It contains black tea and other spices and is made with different choices of milk (whole, skim, soy, etc). It is said to be an antioxidant. Check out the websites below for more information on black tea and chai tea calories.

I drink this tea alot, & have a box of Celestial Seasonings Teahouse Chai. (orginal india spice). 100% Natural Chai Tea. Contains caffine. The spices in it is: Black tea, cinamon, ginger, roasted chicory, cloves, cardamom, natural flavor, nutmeg, black pepper, chinese star anis, and vanilla bean.

myth, nothing u drink helps u lose weight, don't believe in anyone who is selling a product, because if there was a product that could help u lose weight, then everyone would be buying it now and it would be very popular and we wouldn't have all these fat people everywhere... but the best way to lose weight is to exercise daily, eat healthy foods, drink a lot of water, and get a lot of sleep
