Tell me why you are so sure that there is no God. You cannot proof His non-existence, you cannot proof that He did not make this world, you cannot proof that there is not going to be a judgement one day. So, you have to believe that there is no God, you cannot possibly know it for a fact.

Btw, I cannot proof to you His existence, God is my belief, my religion, and in His word I will believe.

I don't really get the whole "proof" thing anyway. Neither side can prove or disprove anything. And this whole idea that the burden of proof is on one side or the other really doesn't cut it either. It's only debateable if both sides are willing to debate. But for the most part, everyone is more worried about appearing to be right to everyone else than trying to actually acquire information from others About these things.

Because we can spell "themselves."

But seriously, no, we can't prove God doesn't exist. We can't prove there are no flying purple unicorns, either. Just try to prove it. What, you've never seen one? That's no proof that they don't exist. What, there's no physical evidence of them? Of course there is! Just look at all the purple flowers in the world - violets, pansies, irises, tulips, crocuses, roses, etc... Why do you think there are purple flowers? Because flowers turn purple when purple unicorns piss on them, of course! What do you mean that science says that purple flowers are purple because of their genetic code? I have a book called the Purple Unicorn Sermons that says otherwise, so it must be true! The purple unicorns exist because the Sermons say so, and we all know the Sermons are true cause the purple unicorns say so!

Doesn't that all sound a little bit irrational to you?

In other words, why are YOU so sure of yourself?

One cannot be sure that there is no God, but the chances are so small, and the proof isn't there, that I reject the possibility. If there was ANY proof at all, then I'd rethink, but there isn't and so I prefer to work by my own rules.

This question is asked often on here. I'll take the bullet this time. :)

We're sure of ourselves because we see no evidence of a god. Why don't you believe Zeus is real? Or the Tooth Fairy? Or the Invisible Pink Unicorn? You can't KNOW for a fact they aren't real. Same "reasoning" applies to Allah or Jesus or whichever god you worship.

Well good for you, but next time learn to spell and use grammar before you ask questions. You go ahead and believe that god exists, and I'll believe that he doesn't, and we'll all just go on our merry way.

You are just going to go in circles here. You can't prove that he does exist either, as you yourself said. Atheism is their belief, and you are probably not going to change that. A question like this is pointless.

Can you prove the non-existence of unicorns? Can you prove THEY didn't create the world?

Of course you can't. Lack of evidence doesn't prove or support anything at all. Evidence FOR something is all that matters in the pursuit of truth. Show me good evidence for god, and then we can discuss weather he exists or not.

You believe? Why do you have a avatar as marijuana? It just seems kinda strange. If you believe in God I'm happy for you.

There are some atheists who say "Not necessarily" and they don't insist there is no God. There are some who actually wish there were a God.

You just answered your own question, thus making the entire buffoonish puffing of your feathers invalid. Feel free to delete your little roundabout of snobbish and selfrighteous incompetence and flawed logic.
