You can use Curls Up by Pro Vitamin. This is a scrunching gel. It is best to use after washing hair. You just put some in your palms and rub it thru your hair then start scrunching from the end up to your scalp.

shampoo and set would be your best bet and use firm setting lotion and small diameter rollers
