Yes of course u can, My husband and I met on a vaction to thailand he is from india and I from Usa We become really good friends with in minutes We had so much in coomen then after 6 months of talking in the phone and chatting he proposed to me and I exceppted and now we happily married and i love him so much he is love of my life! so the answers to ur question is that yes best friends can be lovers it is the best.
