I mean really hungry and my mom wanted me to go say a prayer with the family i mean i got respect for prayers but you know i was really hungry so i took some pretzels with me so i won't be so hungry and my dad started gettin up in my face and say "CHRISTOPHER DONT BE EATIN IN HERE!!!" all i wanted to do was have a little snack i was starving when he said that i felt like the hulk i wanted to break everything in sight i mean the tv the chair i wanted to throw the chair out the window i wanted to punch out the china cabinet he really didn't have to get an attitude like that all he had to say was wait till we're done with the prayer and i mean i was starving. Why are people like that?

Some parents are bullies. I felt that way once with my father. Sometimes its the way our parents were raised themselves and its a learned behavior.

Relax.... go outside and eat it if your parents are that strict, I mean we pray before each meal, but we've all been guilty of sneaking a bite here and there, I think your dad was a bit eccentric but hey they are your parents and you do need to respect their rules

well at times ...elders simply want to preserve traditions like they were used too...maybe a more discreet action next time.Happy are those who give more understanding to their elders...when it should be their tasks..next time grab a fast snack and gulp it...then chew it there...afterall God understands us all..for in every controversy there are 3 sides of the story...yours...them...and the right side!!!
