i know its hard but you dont need people to make you happy i mean i know its the holidays but the way i see it is that you have to learn to love to be by yourself because you'll never know when you'll lose everybody in ur life you'll be ok just try and be strong i wish you lots of luck =)

I know it is hurtful to lose friends and family but go and make new friends. You can't replace the old friends but gain new ones. No it isn't healthy to look thru old photo albums, if you had gotten divorced but needed to get over him b/c he has moved on with someone else it wouldn't be healthy for you to continue to look at photos of him well its the same thing and after you stop missing your friends and family then pull out the albums but only when you can do so without crying about them.
The holidays are depressing for a lot of people but it doesn't have to be for you. Go meet new people and enjoy the life that you have.
Good luck and Merry Christmas to you

Any time is hard for someone when they have lost somebody looking through old pictures and remembering the past can help people deal with there loss and its always good to have a cry every now and again, there is nothing wrong with what you are doing as long as you are dealing with your loss and not dwelling on it.

Oh my gosh I feal so sorry for you. Honestly I don't think its that unhealthy rumaging through old pictures, but to feal sorry for yourself makes it even worse and that is unhealthy. If you have a boyfriend or your married go and spen the holidays whith him and his family. If you don't then you could always get a boyfried ( i'm not saying go out and just pick a random guy no no no) just be yourself, and go up and talk to a guy that you think is cute and go on from there.

it is healthy to grieve over the loss of loved ones,at any time.i find myself doing the same occasionally.it is not healthy however to believe that holidays should be filled with saddness just because they are no longer around.remember the laughter and excitement that resides inside your heart.they are with you even though you can't see them.they wouldn't want you to stop believing you are deserving of happiness.this is all in your head.you create the despair and loneliness yourself.it is up to you what to do.

I think it is a very touching thing to do. Memories of family and friends are to be cherished all the time--but the holidays are a very special time. Cheer--up. They all would want you to be happy. Blessings.

don't think about the fact that they're not with us anymore. think of the old memories and the happy times you had together. only the best are taken away from us and they wouldnt want you to be depressed for the holidays they'd want you to think back on the times you spent together and had so much fun and were full of laugther.

ohhhhh I'm so sad for you.....I think you should look through them until it starts to affect you in the negative way then, change pace and eat cookies or watch some rudolph the red nose reindeer on tv, or sing along to carols, where do you live? you can spend it with me
