NO, humans cannot pass on colds to animals. They can get upper respiratory infections that are very similar to human "colds" with runny nose, sneezing, fever, watery eyes, etc. They can pass this back and forth between other cats, but not to humans. Most viruses are species specific, and cannot go from one species to a different species.

"Viral Infections
Most viruses infect only their natural host species. Human viruses, like those that cause the common cold, infect only humans, while feline immunodeficiency virus, feline infectious peritonitis virus, and feline leukemia virus infect only cats. However, one virus that can be passed from cats to humans is rabies, a viral disease resulting from the bite of an infected animal. Cats are highly susceptible to rabies, which attacks the central nervous system, causing a variety of signs. Rabies is almost always fatal. In people, rabies infections usually occur when an infected animal bites a person. In order to protect human health, rabies vaccination of cats is required by law in many areas. Even if your cat is kept indoors, it is important to keep rabies vaccines current because cats occasionally escape outdoors, and because rabid animals such as bats and raccoons occasionally enter houses. To further reduce your risk of rabies, avoid contact with wildlife and stray animals. See a doctor immediately if you have been bitten by an animal."

I'm assuming the comment was a joke, but aspirin is very dangerous for cats and can KILL them. Cats can catch colds, but they do not get the same type of viruses as humans so your cat should be fine.

Colds are not transmissable from humans to cats, or from cats to humans. There are very few such diseases (called zoonotic diseases); the best-known is undoubtedly rabies.

Yes she can but the only way to see that she is sick, her nose will run all the time, eyes red and runny, and she will not want to eat or drink water.
But as long as you are medicines from your Dr. then she won't catch anything.
Whenever I am sick my dog stays right there with me they sense when there Alpha is sick and wants to protect them..It is normal even for a cat to stay close to her/his Alpha...

Of course cats can catch colds from their owners.
But if your cat should catch a cold from you, it's no big issue. Give it aspirin, neocitrin and sore-throat lozenges.
