You don't. It is a commitment you choose to make. You have a list of desirable personal characteristics that he fulfills-CHECK! He is visually and sexually attractive-CHECK! He has interests and hobbies that you find intringuing-CHECK! You have enough similar interests that will keep you connected-CHECK! He makes you feel weak when he looks at you-CHECK!
Get it? Just fulfill your list of things that you are looking for in a man and create your own destiny. Whatever decisions you make in life, there will always be the ability to look back and wonder if you made the right decision.

If you have to ask that, he's probably not.
You will know on several levels, meaning like mutual interests, religious beliefs, enjoyment being together (and not just for sex, by the way) and doing things together. But it's an intuitive thing. You know without trying.

He's your best friend. You can't live without him. Everything is perfect. His parents love you, your parents love him... You want to spend every waking (and sleeping) moment with him. You love everything about him, even the quirky weird things. You can see yourself having kids, growing old, having grandkids, etc. Believe me, you will know if he's the one.

If you are prepared to give it all up to make them happy, to be with that person. If seeing them happy instantly has the same effect on you. Watching them as they hold you makes your heart soar and gives you butterflies in your stomach. That feeling that all the **it in life makes no difference to you when you are with them. That other people of the opposite sex, pale in comparison.....

You just know! When I met my husband, I just knew...he knew too!! He asked me to marry him after being together only a month...we've been together for over 5 yrs and will be celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary Dec. 21st...
