Do you want a church that teach the truth ? Or a church that make you feel good (because they don't teach the whole thing)?

I really do like your question,,because i believe want you say.
Once I ask a friend "how was church?"..He said it was great. I asked what he learned, he gave me a quizcal look and said that they sang and praised and hollered alot, but not really learned anything.

You're aware many things have been added to the 'whole thing' much of which is what has people crawling up the walls now, along with what appears to be horrible misreadings of some other parts.
If I could actually find a Church that had the original whole thing, I'd consider going, if for nothing else other than to see the reaction of the typical bible thumpers.

I attend a church that teaches the truth. They teach the whole bible like it or not. Sometimes it feels good. Sometimes it hurts when it hits home. If it's from the bible it's truth.

I want a church that is faithful to Scripture, within the context of the Holy Traditions of the Apostolic Fathers of the First Seven Councils of the Undivided Church prior to 1054 A.D. and that does not discount our god-given Holy Reason.
One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. Just like it says in the Creeds of Christendom.

The church I want is the church that Jesus Christ died for. The truth needs to be spoken- without watering it down- however the church must be loving toward all that enter, or we would not be like Christ.

Its CHRISTIAN by the way. Hence the word CHRIST. I go to a church that speaks the truth about God and how he came to die for us on a cross to save us from our sins. Remember Him at this time. The time to celebrate Jesus' birth.

I'm catholic and our church isent exactly touchy fealy and I'm happy that there not suger coating it. Better to be told the truth
