I look at God as a grown-up version of Santa Claus. It is a way to control society into behaving a certain way. It is a nice story but untrue. Religion and sex are power plays in today's society. They both manipulate people and use guilt as a way to ensure people take the path they want.

Organized religion should be unlawful for the abuse it causes. Studies have shown that suicide, drug abuse and alcoholism are the result of guilt placed upon the person by organized religion.

It is shameful.

People who believe in God are the same people that enter the Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes. They will believe in anything.

Which god? Mankind has had serious believers in thousands of different gods. I personally beleive that if there is some any kind of supernatural beings, then such beings probably have almost nothing in common with any of the prevalent god myths.

Yes I believe in God. But my God has no fixed name, just “The Supreme Being.” Different man made religions call “The Supreme Being” by thousands of different names, but “The Supreme Being” does not mind. My God has no sex, not a He nor a She just “The Supreme Being. ” My God has no place of worship, no church, no temple, no place made of brick and cement. “The Supreme Being” is everywhere. My God has given me a set of Dos and Don’ts to guide me on my way its called “My Conscious.” My God has provided me with many helpers…my parents, my teachers, my bosses etc. they help me toe the line. My God gives neither promises of Heaven nor any threats of hell. My Gods has not given me the knowledge required to understand “The Supreme Being” Will or actions. I must live within the limits of my knowledge never question and await new instructions when I die. My God “The Supreme Being” is the one God that everyone calls by different names. “The Supreme Being” never tries to influence others thereby respecting our own free will.

YES! ALWAYS! EVERYDAY of my life. You need God in your life. Unfortunately people only remember him in the moments of despair, but remember when everybody abandon you, When everything fails, when you are about to give up, GOD will be there to make you stronger to keep going on. GOD will be there to show you a light on the end of tunnel. When you are down and suddenly you get up, it is GOD that gave his hand for you. When you are crying and suddenly you find a little smile inside of you, it is God that talked to you and gave you hope.

I do believe in God with my whole being- however- the more important question is do you know God through His Son Jesus who came to earth to save us from our sins. Believing God exists is just the first step.

Yes, I believe in GOD
and I also believe that everyone believes in GOD...

it's only that when life is happy, hunky, dory GOD takes a back seat and we go around making comments such as 'there's no GOD'....

but if life is going through some bad phase....guess whom do we call out first for.....GOD; and then we head straight to mandir, gurdwara, masjid or church.....

yes god exists whether you believe in god or not.but god is not the creator of these destroyable things of nature. he is just the creator of his soul as a god. god is like an ideal to reach the upper most stage of spiritualism.
