Tea with lemon and honey.
Ice pops
Sore throats without infection can pretty much do well to have anything soothing hit them in the form of warm or cooling foods.
If it is due to an infection or if you have a fever. Make whatever you take for it as far away from being actual food as possible.
infections need proteins to live off of so tea and ice pops with fever or infection is better than a fatty, protein laden soup.
Feed a cold and starve a fever... that's what that old saying means!
and soups and warm things for just a hurting throat...

Anything liquid.....
Try to stay away from citrus and dairy products.....
the citrus will make it hurt more and dairy products will build up mucus and what not.......try going with soups, soft vegetables-like cooked green beans, carrots, or mashed potatoes. Soup is really the best way to go.......

Any type of soup you like.
Applesauce, or any fruit.
Drink tea or Theraflu.
Soft cereals like oat meal or cream of wheat.
Don't eat spicey foods.
You can eat anything, actually when you eat, the pain isn't as bad as when you don't eat.
