Try curling your hair or make it wavy. Don't do bangs because then you take away volume. Don't do layers either.

Perhaps you should try volumizing shampoos, conditioners and volumizing mousse or gel. Perhaps get a body wave perm, to give you more volume, ask the hair stylist that is working on your hair, go to an upscale salon, not Magic Cuts or Haircutters.

Use a volumizing shampoo and conditioner first of all. Then apply a volumizing spray, mousse, or other product and blow dry your hair upside down. This tends to create the most volume.

Try a volumizing shampoo & conditioner. And then some products before and after you do your hair that can help volumize. They sell them at all drug stores and most food stores in the beauty products area.

Try fluffling or blowdrying your hair upside down. Tilt forward and blowdry your hair that way while using your larger brush.
