The denial itself won't show up on your credit report. But the companies that you apply with show's up on your credit report in the Inquiries section. Lenders at another institution within the same industry can see this. When having your credit pull by the same type of industry companies it drops your score at least by 100 points when denied. Be careful!! But to help you with your credit situation please take some time out to check out our services. www.fdimember.com/brookline

no. inquiries do show up and this leads the industry in how many and how often you are seeking credit. the bad part is random companies will pull and inquire on you also so they can offer you a credit card. send a letter to the agencies asking to merge the inquiries or delete them. keep them to a minimum. every time you apply on your own and give permission to pull your credit, your score goes down 5 points. hope this helps. good luck.

The denial itself doesn't show up. The company where u applied is listed that they checked your credit. If you get to many companies checking your credit in a short time it will hurt your score. Lenders will wonder why you are applying so often and might think your in financial trouble and won't give you loans.

Sort of. Every time you apply for credit (whether you get it or not) you have points put against your score.
