that the QB for "Americas Team" the Dallas Cowboys is a Mexican.. With all the discrimination towards Mexicans going on right now is Tony Romo the right man for the job ,of being Americas quarterback....??

Romo is a third-generation Mexican American. His grandfather, Ramiro Romo Sr., emigrated from Múzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico to San Antonio, Texas as an adolescent. The elder Romo cites Tony's success as an example of the possibilities afforded to immigrants in the United States: "I've always said this is a country of opportunities. If you don't get a job or an education, it's because you don't want to." [3]

He is an avid amateur golfer, and attempted to qualify for the 2004 EDS Byron Nelson Championship and the 2005 U.S. Open, but missed the cut. During the offseason, when not training, he is known to play golf around Dallas.

Romo is also a frequent guest on local sports radio programs. Beginning in 2006, he has been the co-host of "Inside The Huddle", a one-hour player commentary show that airs on ESPN Radio on KESN-FM in Dallas along with linebacker Bradie James.

He is beloved by his alma mater, Eastern Illinois University, which has few professional athletes. Mike Shanahan, coa

This fellow and his outcome is hardly ironic. It is simply put, the American Dream. It is what America used to be and have to offer. What IS ironic, is that the very country (Mexico) that gave us this fine example of what America was, will be/has become the destroying force that will/has brought America to it's knees with unbalanced, illegal immigration and has killed the goose that laid the golden egg for any hopes of future generation of people from all over the world.
Although Mexico and Mexican illegals have been the club that was used to beat America to death, the hand which held/holds that club is non other than our American government and those large corporations that are too blindly greedy and corrupt to see what they have done.
America is nearly dead and dying, writhing in it's own death throws. Welcome to our friends from Mexico and all others that think they can come here for a better life. Not!

Is he a citizen? If so then I see no problem. Discrimination against Mexicans? Only illegal ones. And not nearly as much as they like to claim. They get more privileges than citizens.

But what's ironic about your post is that he came here legally and that there is no discrimination toward one race. We are against illegal immigration...not against the Mexican race.
