If he looks and, more importantly, acts younger than he is, then he could probably go 10-12 years younger at most. (And by acting younger, I mean that he is still open to new experiences, doesn't just listen to music from the 80's, continues to read and actively learn, and exercizes fairly regularly.) Any younger than that and you end up with girls who probably have not had enough life experience yet to be settling down with an older man for the rest of their lives.

But seriously, age is not and should not be the main issue. He needs to try to find someone who shares the same beliefs, a similar philosophy of life, and some of the same activities or pastimes. Whether that means a mature 25 year old or a dynamic 40 year old, it shouldn't matter.

Incidentally, I'm 42, but I look no older than 30, and I have dated (or at least been hit on by) guys between 19 and 50. I've found guys that I could be compatible with from 24 to 39. For the most part, 27 to 35 is the range I would "look" for, although I'd be open to guys a bit older than that for something long-term, and a bit younger than that for something short-term.

By the way, I definitely recommend that he date some of these young girls before he picks one to marry, though.

regrettably many human beings do no longer evaluate the Lord to be significant of their lives or to also be the Lord of their life in any respect. a extra perfect thanks to positioned it truly is that the poeple that damage up many cases do no longer look to take their vows heavily and that is oftentimes tracked decrease back to the very shown truth that they do no longer positioned the Lord and His commandments above themselves. they received't understand the Lord or some do only no longer want some thing to do with Him so in a because that they stay out selfish lives and could no longer compromise their happiness or perhaps with it may take to make the marriage paintings. Now their are different motives that some get divorsed yet I went with this one because of your statement of basing their relationship on the Lord. so a thoughts because the age situation is going, it quite relies upon on how youthful we are talking. the more youthful the age the harder it truly is to commence to construct a life with someone and the further the marriage is strained early interior the marriage. They both opt to be mature sufficient to handle the struggles and prerequisites they could face highly interior the first few years that are oftentimes the hardest.

He could marry someone 10 years or even 15. The only thing that really matters is love.

marriage isnt like picking a puppy at the store. he should marry who he is in love with. anything over 18 legally. But to avoid criticism he should do over 20.

Sounds like YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT YOURSELF? People often try to hide, IN THE SECOND PERSON!

(Pro 18:22) Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.

Thanks, RR
