Absolutely! However, Christ told his disciples to do two things in order for prayer to work. First, ask it in his name, and lastly, believe that will happen. Faith is the key.

Absolutely. My mom came out of a week-long coma because of prayer. Her doctors told us that she would not live. My family, along with many of our friends around the country, began praying for her on a Friday night. Saturday morning, she was sitting up in bed talking to us. God healed my dad's heart because of prayer. My dad was waiting on a heart transplant. Because of prayer, he began to slowly get better. He eventually healed to the point where he didn't need a transplant anymore. His doctors told him his heart had reversed the damage to the point that it was 98% healthier than it had been when he first got sick. I don't care what anyone says- prayer works. There is nothing, nor will there ever be, that can change my mind.

I believe that anytime you focus on something with your mind, you put your thoughts into the universe. Then the mind works subconsiouly to move toward those things you think about. Be it prayer, thought, meditation, visualization, affirmations, etc...I think there is power to accomplish anything. When people put thoughts into the universe great things can happen.

believe in it! I'm alive because of it.
I had a gun pointed at my head and told GOD if he had a purpose for me then he'd prove it by giving me a ray of sunshine and I would go home and never let anything bother me that badly again.
I should tell you it was a completely overcast cloudy day and I didn't want to make it easy to misunderstand a miracle and I really didn't see any point to living a 'dead' life. I wanted an easy out.
The sun came through a tiny opening in the clouds and I sat there GOBSMACKED! I had all the grief and pain of my problems jump off of me like the fleas off a dogs back!
I sat and laughed and felt like for once in my life I had someone that was looking out for me!
I fired off the 2 rounds that were in the chamber as a celebration of my new life and I walked home in the pouring rain!!!

Yes, I believe there is power in prayer since in God's word it says "what ever you ask in my name it shall be giving to you."

I believe in the power of faith and praying is its expression.

Praying is a recognition of helplessness to resolve a problem through your own effort.
