While travellling when I feel very tired at night, I go for a single peg of whisky (usually I don't consume hard drinks, so its enough for me) but it doesn't helps me to overcome fatigue, infact it makes me over active & due to this reason I can't sleep well. Moreover, country's time difference also disturbs the sleeping cycle. Next day is even more tiring as I feel sleepy & lethargic the whole day. This vicious circle trouble me a lot, while I am on travel. My question is are there any natural ways to reduce tiredness, specially for travellers. Secondly, can anyone recommend any other hard drink which can relax & helps in inducing sound sleep.
Reply prefered from travellers or doctors.
Thanking all of you in advance for taking out time for replying to my long & boring question.

i am a traveller so i guess i can give you a couple of suggestions. alcohol never does it for me though. i learned meditation so i can relax myself anywhere and anytime. a lot of the time, insomnia is also psychological which means you not only have to relax your body but also your mind in order to fall asleep and alcohol just doesn't do it. try it and it works!

Booze does not help, you have too much road stress, relax for a half hour before sleep, by clearing your mind. the booze in your system is what is kicking your butt in the morning. try 1 single 12 oz can of beer. if you really feel you need alcohol.
