she had no symptoms of lepto but fever for 1 1/2 weeks only after she got conjuctivitis from her daughter.....is it lepto or not

Hi there,
All tests by ELISA technique will have a cut-off value for every 'run' ! If the test sample shows higher value than the 'cut-off', it is considered as positive and if less than the 'cut-off', it is considered as negative !
You could have checked it from the "clinical lab' where you got the sample tested !
For some tests, it is the progressive increase in the titre which is diagnostic...!
But, all ELISA tests are notorious for giving "false positive" results too !
Have a frank discussion with the physician who is treating the patient !
After all, he knows better...right ?
