How do you know if you have found God, or if God is present in your Life?

I'm having a hard time figuring it out, please help me to understand this, Thank You.

To my way of thinking you have only to take a breath to know that God is present in your Life. God is the very energy that powers this existence.

God is just another name for a supreme being. If you believe that someone or something created the world, universe and beyond and that it didn't just happen, then the idea of a God makes sense. You either believe or you don't. Almost everyone believes in a God because we were taught from birth that there is a God. It's just an assumption we make. I don't think anyone can or ever will prove the existence of God. Early man made associations with God and bad and good things happening to their life. Such things as drought, good crops, volcano eruptions, floods, new life reminded them that there was some power at work that they didn't understand. It eventually became the term God, under many other names. This is a tough question and I know there will be many answers. Most of them will be quotes from the bible or Koran, but to me a quote is not the same thing as a true understanding. It's totally personal. Don't let the bible thumpers tell you otherwise. They are just sheep like all the rest. They want to make you believe the same as they do. Conformity seems to be a common trait among believers. Personally, I believe in God, but I don't believe in any one organized religion.

you need to talk to God about this and try harder on the listening part. Maybe go somewhere that it is quiet for a long time.

When you get to know God a little. do some research on what asking Jesus for help and becoming His friend is all about. I suggest u read the red letters only in the gospels and see if what u think of the speaker who we call Jesus (that was not really His name it is like a title) If you think He is right on then go somewhere alone and ask Him to be your friend and ask Him for guidance and for the Comforter. If after you do that u are not absolutely convinced u r a griend of Jesus then re-examine your process it is possible u really do not want to change from what you are. When u truly accept Him as friend and guide u will change a lot. u will know it and everyone who knows u will say things like what is different about u and you've changed. If these things are not evident u r not yet a true Christian, and must go deeper inside alway praying and seeking until you find Him. Actually He finds u.
Afterwards do not think yeah I have arrived now I can coast because you must continue to grow under His guidance and that is not always easy but is always rewarding.

This question is common. Do you feel the need to please God in your life? If you see something that you want and your tempted to take it, but a guilt consumes you, then I would say you have God. God is everywhere, but we are a society that wants to find a logical answer for it. It's hard to see his blessings if you don't look for them and give Him and not mother nature the credit for it. If you feel the need to do right, or if someone insults God and you feel a strong need to defend Him, then your in a good place. You my not see yourself any different when you have God in your life, but others will see the difference. If you found fun in bars before, but now your fun is found in different places, God is in you. If you confess with your mouth, that Jesus is your personal Savior and you really believe that He died for us and rose again and will be back to save us, then that's it. God is forever your father. You may not always feel it, because we tend to pull away from Him, but He is forever there for eternity. Talk to Him and ask Him to help you feel His presence. When you need Him He will be there. Basically, if you want God in your life, you can ask for Him to help guide you.

There's no right or wrong way to determine whether He is present. He is always present, it's just a matter of you asking. :)

God says that if you walk to Him a handspan, He'll run to you an armspan.

I know from experience that it's only a matter of time before you start seeing actual things in your life change for the better, and then that'll help you renew your faith that God is the All-Hearer of all things. :)

When I was saved, I wasn't sure I was. I had to run it by our pastor. Here is what I experienced: a peace beyond all understanding for my circumstances, deep sleep without waking up with panic attacks, a joyfulness that knew no bounds and an acceptance of my circumstances.

God; we are but a little spark of light from the light that gives life, as we find God our light becomes brighter and brighter. We learn to create as our Creator created us, so I guess as long as your not destroying without good reason God is present in your life.

You must first acnowledge that God is real. Then you must admit that you need him. Then you must admit that you can not come to Him because you are not worthy to do so, and admit why you are not worthy. Then you must learn how to come to Him.

All who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation. Those then become of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. only those of The Church will enter Heaven....

When this all happens you will know it and there will be no doubt that it has happened. your question will be answered.

You know God is in your life if you fell his presence within you. If you know that everything good that happens in your life is not solely due to your merit but it is a blessing from him. Even waking up in the morning and felling the sun on your face is a blessing. You know you do not get up in the morning by yourself. You do not will yourself to life. It comes from God. He/she/it is a force that just makes you understand that everything beautiful, and truthful, and good is him manifesting himself in your life.
