I'm currently in grade 12 and I want to start applying for
universities in Canada.
I see that there is electrical engineering and mechatronics engineering in University of Toronto.
Which program should I apply for if I'm interested in telecommunication or electronics such as digital audio players?

Electrical Engineering is the probably one of the hardest majors in college. I am a Mechanical Engineer, and i truly believe this, i have take mechatronics classes and they do not compare, but still have the same basic idea. It's because of the AC currents, very difficult to understand. I would go down the path of Electrical Engineering, has a much vaster and open job market, and covers pretty much all of mechatronics, and also what you are looking for.

Electrical. There are more jobs in that area.

Also, look into going to Waterloo or UVic because they have co-op programs which give you real experience before you graduate.

UVic is ultimately the best place because of the decent winter weather.
