It is going to hurt. Just know that. One of the most painful places to get a tattoo is on the inside of the upper arm, or any inside part of the arm. I have one on the top of my foot, it hurt a bit, I also have one on my lower back, that hurt more. It just depends. But it's going to hurt no matter where you get one. If you are that worried, you may not be ready to get one...

I've got 2 tattos , 1 on my hip and 1 on back of my shoulder, the pain is bearable, but the outline hurts the most. It's like a burning sensation but tickles at the same time, a bit like a graze. The neck is very sensitive, but everyone has different pain thresholds, try scrathing your neck 4 a while and see how long you can stand it for!

Yes, getting a tattoo hurts. How sore it's relies completely on in which you get it. But it is not often so sore you can not get it completed. I've received a band round my higher arm. The outer aspect of the arm is somewhat sore however the within, in which there is much less muscle and extra tender flesh, the tattooist needed to press tougher so it harm extra. My exwife has a solar and moon layout round her stomach button. That, in keeping with her, used to be essentially the most painful factor she's had performed. Soft facet of the frame, lot of stress. Other areas that harm. Anywhere in which dermis covers almost bone. So some thing at the shin goes to nip, for instance. Feet are tremendously touchy, notably at the sole, and whilst getting tats at any place else will harm, tattooing at the toes will harm LOTS. If you wish some thing performed in your again, it is approximately the pleasant location to do it should you don't seem to be eager on soreness. It will nonetheless harm at the tender bits, however you will have fewer nerve endings in your again than another facet of your frame so it hurts somewhat much less. And should you do get a tattoo, do not do it with a hangover. My first one, I'd been consuming till 3 within the morning at the night time earlier than. Six hours sleep, commonly nonetheless somewhat inebriated, sitting within the tattooists chair getting whiter and whiter till I needed to bolt for the bathroom and boak. (Boak, a Scots phrase for throwing up) A little soreness feels worse whilst you've received a hangover.... And do not get them at any place you can not duvet them, except you wish to grow to be doing a guide task. If you wish some thing proffesional to your existence (accountant, attorney, stockbroker, that variety of factor) a tattoo isn't going to be the pleasant factor you wish to exhibit at your interview. People make decisions at the variety of character who will get tattoos. Nine occasions out of ten that judgement is fallacious, but if you are seeking to get a brand new task the ones are the form of odds you are not looking for.

I'm a woman 24 years old. I have a tat on the back of my neck that is about 4inches tall and 4 wide. The hardest thing about getting my tat was filling out the information form. It didn't hurt one little bit. I was talking on the phone with my sister and chatting with my tat artist. I would suggest that you choose a shop with a open face table to seat you on. Having your head titled down while sitting upright can strain your neck muscles and make you neck hurt in that way. If they have a open face table you can relax more on your stomach while laying down.
ps. I have other tats that did hurt. So when people say the back of the neck hurts they are lying.

It depends on where you get it. I have one on my lower back that didnt really hurt til it got on the spine. I also have one on the back of my neck, which again didn't really hurt til the spine. It's more of a slight pinching feeling than pain. I got used to it and after a while it really didn't hurt. Hopefully you'll just go for it and get one cuz it's worth it if you get what you really want. No Pain No Gain :) Good Luck :)

Depends on how big of a pussie you are. It can become bearable but it really depends on the person, some people like pain. I know that the more you get the the more you want, it gives you an endorphin rush.

it all depends on a number of things. all tattoo's hurt, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. what you must take into consideration is the location of the art, how deep the tattooist is putting in the needle and is the tattooist actually any good.
my advice to you is if you are serious about getting 1 you should first try it in a inconspicuous place to see if the pain is to much....

It depends on your pain threshold. When I got mine I found that the outline hurt the most. It was alot easier to sit through the color. Hope this helps!!

i would compare the pain of a tattoo to the pain of being lightly cut with a razor blade. It doesn't get better the longer your sitting there, it's the same pain the whole time. It hurts but it's barable.

the back of your neck? Easy! I have one there and it was my most painless one... well except for my wrist. It hurts a little bit when they hit your spine, but it's not a big deal! Even the shading wasnt an issue! Good luck! Have fun! and be sure you trust your artist
