there are no obvious signs. the only way to know is to have a blood test. or ask them. sometimes that works too.

You cannot tell, unless the person has full blown AIDS and appears ill and run down and thin. If you could tell, then how would it spread?? Would YOU have sex with someone who "looked" like they were HIV pos? A blood test is the only way to tell, and it is perfectly acceptable these days to ask someone to take one. You actually can go with them, and get tested at the same time. It does take some of the spontieity out of the whole romance thing, but better safe than sorry. Good luck and be safe!

There are really no symptoms to HIV. When it turns to full-blown AIDS they can get sores, lose weight, etc. This is why it is a good idea to get blood tests and make sure that you are in a commited relationship.

You can not tell a person is HIV by just looking at them. Its not possible until they're CD4 count begans to drop and they began to contract other illnesses due to they're suppressed immune systems. By this time they're are no longer HIV +, they have full blown AIDS.
