it depends on what you can afford financially and emotionally. 4 is a good #, but if you can have more and afford them and be able to take care of that many, go for it.

Depends on the person.
I want 3 because 1 isn't enough, 2 just fight and 3 sounds good...but who knows...

I think more than 5 is too many, so 4 is fine.

If you are financially stable for that many children than I'm proud of you.

But again, everyone is different and if 4 or more children is for you, than go for it!

good luck with the twins!! 3 in diapers is going to be tough tho!

I think as long as you can handle the kids then there is never too high of a number. I will admit I have heard of people having about 12 and I kinda wonder how in the world do they do it?! I have 3 little ones but wouldnt mind having another one but my tubes are tied. I also have twins that are 2 years old so enjoy them! :)

Well, I myself have 5 kids (6, twin 4yr olds, and twin 1 yr olds). I would love to have more, but it is so expensive these days to have children and it seems that mine like to come in 2's. I think thatif you have the money to raise the kids you can have as many as you want and if you emotionally can handle them. It is a lot of hard work, but very rewarding.

I know a person with 7 kids. I think that's way too much because kids are extreamly expensive. I mean, they do cost alot. Even with help. I say anywhere 1-5 is a good amount to have

If you can't afford to provide for them and have to rely on government aid then you have too many. Unfortunately many women in this country look at each new kid as a new welfare check each month and keep having them, only to let them run the streets when they get older and add to the crime problems

No offense but for me, one is too many. I am not a kids person. I love my nephews, and when they leave my house, it's not so bad either lol.
I just think kids take time away from couples. I don't know, I just like to travel a lot, and chill out, not one for dealing with stress too well.
I prefer a fish tank

I'm a firm believer that as long as you can financially handle it, and you are good parents, than have as many as you want! I have two, and when I graduate from nursing school plan to have a few more. Good luck with the twins.

That would be entirely up to you. Noone else can determine that but the person that has to raise them. A frienc of mine has five kids and they are all just fine. The only thing that would concern me would be financial. And learn how to schedule things so that everything got done when it had to be.

Have as many as you want, as long as you can care for them. I don't think there's some magic number when it comes to how many kids to have. Every couple is individual and will decide that themselves. I do believe that you should be able to care for them financially and in every other way yourself.
