Satan has in fact appeared to me. It was right after I had become born-again (about 2 weeks later) and I thought I was losing my mind. It made me tense and scared and all I kept doing was praying to God and rebuking Satan. I would lay down and just curl up and think that I was okay and then all these emotions that Satan was throwing in my face came back again...for about 2 hours this went on and I stayed strong with the word of the Bible , and I have been happily victorious since that day. I have never had an issue with it again.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

I have had experiences with persons being so evil before me and so angel of light before others right in front of you, you see these two behaviors in one person.
2Cor.11:14;
How does a child have protection from child molester that is a saint before a community? This is what such is all about.
1Pet.5:8;
How does a wife have protection from an abusive husband that acts like a saint before every one else?
He is a devil that is heartless towards the life, limbs and property of his wife.

He does try to make one believe wrong is right, black is white and that the only future is with him.

Usually he wears a blue suit, white shirt and red tie. Has an American flag pin on his lapel though he has done nothing to earn it.

No angel of light stuff directly, he just pretends to be the president.

No. I believe he can and does to some people. He uses whatever he can to deceive you. Sometimes he uses the truth to try to justify doing wrong. For example he may tell you that abortion is wrong (in my opinion true) but he then tries to justify doing something wrong like bombing an abortion clinic (which is very wrong). He doesn't have to appear to you to deceive you. One thing I am sure of is that he will never try to convince you to do what is right.

I know this one guy who just finished bible semonary. And an "angel of light" came to his bed and told him there where many paths to heaven. If ur christian then you believe he was a demon or the devil. If dont believe in God you'll say this is fantasy. This guy was serious and began to follow other religions

Satan did appear to me once, and he was playing Christmas carols with his armpit, oddly enough.

Satan is just a made up something people blame their actions on. I could murder someone and say 'It wasn't me! Satan was controlling me!'

People always say Satan makes you do bad things.YOU make yourself do bad things, not somebody else, geniuses.
