Are there any other symptoms? Flu ? Food poisoning? To treat the diarrhea, send someone out to get you Imodium D available OTC(over the counter) that should take care of it promptly. Since you have had this over a week, that is the fastest way to treat it. There is also the BRAT Diet. B= banana, R=rice, A=Apple sauce and T= toast. you stay on the BRAT diet eating only these 4 foods until the diarrhea is under control then you gradually start adding the foods that you normally have in you diet. This is as serious as I know how to get. Or even better is to consult your physician, in order to get a dianosis and a RX

I had a smilier concern and spent hours searching around until I found the Web MD symptom checker. I came to the conclusion that it the color of your stool only really matters when it's reddish-brown or black cause it means there is blood in your stool. I don't think pale stool was anything to really worry about it's just your diet. Anyhow feel free to check it out I listed the a link to the site.

The color depends on what you are eating. Iron makes it darker. If your stomach has been hurting baddly for a week, you should check with a doctor. It could be an intestinal bug or something else.

You should see your doctor as you probably have an infection, having diarrhea for a week isn't normal let alone the colour, your doctor will probably send a stool sample off to be tested, if it is an infection antibiotics will be needed

If you're worried, make a doctor's appointment. However, he may ask for a sample of you stool to run some tests.

A week is too long. Get to a doctor you may have amoebic dysentery.
