Leasing can be a much better option than purchasing depending on how often you purchase cars and the amount of mileage you put on each year. Hummer lease payments have been very low for the past 3 months, specially the 27 & 39 month, and have a high residual values. Is there a maximum payment you are trying to budget? Would you be satisfied with the Hummer H3? Both product lines are good choices, so if payment isn't an option, look at which one you will give you a better ownership experience. As a Car Sales Associate, I'm sure you probably know that a $350 payment this month can be a $450 payment next month. I hope this helps you. Good luck!

Hummer H1 definitely way way better than the Jeep. It is the real Hummer that is proclaimed by the media to be the tough and powerful vehicle. The reason is because these H1s were originally built by American Motors Corporation (AMC) specifically for the US Army going into WW2 and Vietnam war. So obviously it is a tough off-road vehicle which can do everything & is much better than Jeep. Lately though, GMC/Chevy have acquired American Motors because they had more money & they built the H2 & H3 as street legal Hummers. But in reality we know that GMC are a crap company, so their H2 & H3 have become crap vehicles as well. They price it very high claiming that is like a military vehicle, but in reality they are just disguised Chevy SUVs and Trucks, which clearly are not as good as the Jeep or any other tough vehicles. That is why now Hummers are getting a bad rep. If you really wanna buy a Hummer, get the H1 - it is expensive yes, but it is worth every single cent you spend on it. Better than Jeep too. However, to answer your question, the Jeep is way better than the overpriced H3 junk.

if gas milege is not a prob.Take the h3 otherwise go with the jeep.if you dont nned a ton of space check out the liberty, they have the same ride height as the other jeep products and have a tighter turning radius and are just as good in the snow, sand and mud,you should be able to buy on way cheaper than the lease payment on the other 2.

why would you lease?
and why those particular products too when there are far superior products for load and passenger carrying, off roading, general driving, fuel economy? if yorue buying them for style then i think youve missed the mark badly.
as far as im concerned the H3 is up there with the suzuki X90 (google image it) as one of the worst SUVs ever. the commander has only the third row seating over the grand cherokee.
a durango or tahoe is a better bet than either. even a used one.

A lease is not a good idea on either vehicle but that being said there is a lot more involved in the deal then the monthly payment. Cap cost, money factor, millage ...

Loyalty is number one. Watch your butt get fired for buying a car from a different dealership!
