Exothermic means it gives heat, endothermic means it takes heat.

When you oxidize natural gas, it gives off heat (it burns, it's an exothermic process). When you flash CO2 thru a high pressure hose into atmospheric pressure, it becomes 'dry ice' (that's an endothermic process)

Its a gnerator thats uses internal heat to make electricity.
