My cat's do this to me and it get's so annoying! They cry and beg and cry to let them in though the window. And when I open the window to let them in...they don't and walk away....

Its just what cats do sometimes. Sometimes its not to get in, they want you to come out, or they just plain want your attention.

Some cats are like that: They just don't like closed doors. Needless to say, I've gotten pretty good at ignoring their pleas for me to open doors, unless it suits me to do so.
