It's advertising, that's all. Air Canada consistently is voted best business/executive class in the world by frequent business travellers or those who buy that class of ticket. Much of the value comes from how a person is treated before and after they are actually on the aircraft, such as checkin, luggage, first-class airport lounges, points, meal quality and so on.

Of course, they need a strategy to sell their sevice. All of the business has their own way of saying that they are the best among others even they are the same.
